Inline polishing cartridge for Ecosoft reverse osmosis systems. 2" × 10" format, height 270 mm, maximum outer diameter 55 mm, with 1/4" quick-connect fittings at both ends. Sealed one-piece housing in food-grade, EU-manufactured plastic: no housing, no bowl, no O-rings to manage.

What the post-filter does

The post-filter is the final stage of the chain, fitted after the tank and just before the faucet. Its job is not to filter the water, the membrane has done that, but to finish the taste.

RO water stored for hours in a pressure tank can pick up a slight stagnant or bladder taste. The activated carbon takes the water at the moment of draw-off and neutralises those residual tastes and odours. This stage is what separates water that is technically pure from water that is pleasant to drink.

Coconut shell carbon

The media is activated carbon made from coconut shell. This raw material produces a particularly well-developed microporous structure, known for its performance on taste- and odour-causing compounds. It is the reference carbon for drinking water polishing.

Compatibility

Designed for Ecosoft RO systems and suited to standard 1812 membrane configurations. The 2" × 10" format with 1/4" fittings is the market standard for inline post-filters.

Replacement

Every 6 months maximum, regardless of the volume of water produced. This interval is not a commercial precaution: on a stage located after the tank, at low flow and at ambient temperature, the limit is biological before it is a matter of saturation. A post-filter left in place beyond that no longer improves the water and becomes the weak point of the chain.

Cold water only, +3 to +43 °C.

Fitting

Shut off the water and depressurise the tank before servicing. Follow the flow direction marked on the body. Push the 1/4" tube fully home and pull lightly to check engagement. Repressurise and discard the first two tanks to clear carbon fines.
