Overview

This sediment filter cartridge Ecosoft (ref. ECO-CPN251010ECO) fits into a filter housing to treat water upstream of a point of use or equipment. Filtration rating 10 µm. It delivers cleaner water and protects installations (appliances, machines, networks) from particles and, depending on the medium, chlorine and bad tastes.

Filtration principle

This cartridge retains suspended sediment, sand, silt, rust, pipe particles. It clarifies the water and protects downstream equipment and cartridges (carbon, membrane) against premature clogging. The filtration rating sets the retention fineness and is chosen according to the inlet water quality and intended use.

Medium & construction

Polypropylene medium (wound, melt-blown or pleated) suitable for food contact, graded structure to maximise retention. Design suitable for drinking-water contact, with pressure and temperature ratings for domestic or professional use. The cartridge is a consumable: performance holds as long as the medium is not saturated.

Respect the flow direction and replacement interval: a saturated cartridge releases impurities and drops the flow.
