ECOSOFT Arctic Blue 150 water softener, 15 L resin

ECOSOFT Arctic Blue 150 — water softening by Ecosoft

The ECOSOFT Arctic Blue 150 water softener is designed for detached homes with high demand. It removes the limescale (hardness) that clogs pipes, water heaters and household appliances, delivering soft water that is gentler on skin and saves energy and cleaning products. It relies on a food-grade ion-exchange resin and a Clack® CE control valve, ensuring reliability and long service life.

How it works

Hard water flows through the resin bed, which captures calcium and magnesium ions and exchanges them for sodium: the water leaves softened. When the resin is saturated, the valve automatically starts a brine regeneration (water + salt), volume-controlled to use only the salt and water strictly required.

Technical specifications

Everyday benefits

• Protects the water heater, pipes and appliances against scale.
• Optimised salt and water use thanks to volumetric regeneration.
• Softer skin and hair, softer laundry, fewer cleaning products.
• Compact footprint and clean finish, suited to utility rooms, garages and cellars.

Installation & maintenance

The unit is fitted on the main water supply, after the meter, with a by-pass allowing isolation for servicing. Commissioning consists of setting the inlet hardness and the regeneration time; maintenance is limited to refilling salt and a periodic check. DIMM ensures spare-part availability and technical support throughout the service life.

Why soften your water?

Hard water deposits scale in pipes, the hot-water tank and heating elements: energy use rises, appliances wear out early and taps fur up. By removing hardness, the softener extends equipment life, cuts the energy bill, reduces soap and detergent use and makes water more pleasant for skin, hair and laundry. On heating systems, softened water limits scaling of heat exchangers and preserves efficiency over time.

The Ecosoft range

Ecosoft designs high-performing softeners with a controlled footprint and economical operation. FRP composite tanks, selected resins, proven valves and volume-controlled regeneration: every model targets stable performance and minimal salt and water use. From a compact apartment format to high-capacity systems for large homes, the range covers both city and well water.

Quality & compliance

Drinking-water contact parts compliant (food-grade materials, EPDM seals), pressure-resistant FRP body and tank, CE design. Every Ecosoft softener is factory-tested for reliable, durable operation and is backed by the DIMM warranty and after-sales network in Belgium and France.

Regeneration salt & consumables

The softener runs on regeneration salt in tablet form, topped up in the tank as the level drops. Depending on your water hardness and consumption, plan for regular refills; a periodic resin cleaner extends performance. DIMM offers the salt, connection kits, hoses and compatible maintenance parts in the related products, to keep your installation at its best.
