Charbon Actif Granule pour Porte-filtre Bb 10'' avec 2KG de Kdf Aquapro, ref. PR-GACBB-10-2K

Overview

This Aquapro filtration accessory (PR-GACBB-10-2K) completes a cartridge water-treatment line: charbon actif granule pour porte-filtre bb 10'' avec 2kg de kdf. It fits into a filter-housing system or filtration station and contributes to the correct operation of the whole (connection, commissioning, maintenance).

Function & integration

In a filtration system, each element, head/housing, cartridge, fittings, faucet, complete system, plays a precise role. A suitable accessory ensures tightness, flow and sanitary safety of the line. Well chosen and correctly fitted, it prevents leaks, pressure loss and premature replacements, and eases routine maintenance.

Materials & compatibility

Made from drinking-water-compatible materials (food-grade plastics, elastomers, stainless steel per the part), this accessory withstands working pressure and ageing. Check compatibility with the cartridge format (9¾, 10, 20, Big Blue…), thread and brand before ordering. Reference: PR-GACBB-10-2K.

Installation & maintenance

Fitting follows the manufacturer's guidance. Check the tightness of connections, the cleanliness of seal seats and the water-flow direction. Periodic checks (leaks, clogging) and replacement of consumables at recommended intervals ensure performance and longevity.

Use cases

This kind of accessory is found in domestic installations (point of entry, under-sink), tertiary and professional applications (foodservice, light industry). It equips a first installation as well as an extension or replacement on an existing line. Combined with the right cartridges, it forms a coherent filtration chain, from coarse removal to final polishing, matched to the water quality and target flow.

Savings & ecology

A reliable, well-sized accessory reduces losses: fewer leaks, fewer replacements, less water wasted during purges. By securing the filtration line, it extends the life of cartridges and protected equipment, for economical operation.

Choosing right

To choose well, specify your system's brand and format, the thread and the required function. An incompatible accessory compromises tightness and flow. If unsure, the DIMM team will point you to the exactly compatible part.

DIMM service & support

DIMM selects, stocks and ships a broad catalogue of filter cartridges (sediment, carbon, pleated, depth, foodservice, specific media) and accessories for all housing brands. Our technical teams advise on filtration rating, format compatibility (9¾, 10, 20, Big Blue) and stage order. Every item is identified by its article code for reliable ordering and easy re-supply. Benefit from the manufacturer's warranty, deep stock and support from water-treatment professionals. Whether you equip a new installation or maintain an existing filtration line, our advisers help you match every cartridge and accessory to your housings and to your water quality.

Good to know

Respect the flow direction and replacement interval: a saturated cartridge releases impurities and drops the flow. On heavily loaded water, double the pre-filtration (coarse then fine) to protect costly stages (carbon, membrane). Note the exact reference for re-supply: format, rating and connection must match.

Applications

This accessory belongs in domestic and professional filtration chains, at point of entry as well as under-sink. It eases connection, maintenance and expansion of the installation, and fits a staged treatment approach (coarse removal, carbon, polishing) where each component drives overall performance and longevity.
