Aquapro 10" Big Blue cartridge, wound PP fibre 5 micron, NSF
The PR-PPS-1045-5 is a pre-filter cartridge in the 10" Big Blue format, made of wound polypropylene fibre with a 5 micron rating. It retains rust, sand, silt and suspended particles before they reach the rest of the installation.
The Big Blue format offers a considerably larger filtration area and media volume than a standard 10" cartridge: flow passes without excessive pressure drop and the interval between replacements is longer. This is the format of choice at the point of entry of a house, building or commercial site, and as protection upstream of a softener, RO system or UV lamp.
The NSF certified PP media is neutral in contact with drinking water: no taste, no odour, no leaching. Replace the cartridge as soon as pressure drop increases or flow at the outlets falls.
Requires a 10" Big Blue filter housing. Aquapro reference PR-PPS-1045-5.
