The Core water softener
The Core (Ecosoft) is the most compact all-in-one softener of the range, designed for residential use — apartments and households of up to 5 people. It replaces the former “Pink” model. It effectively reduces limescale to protect your customers' installations (plumbing, appliances, hot-water production).
Its highlight: the Ecosoft DV valve with diamond-coated ceramic discs — reliable, no pre-filter and no regular maintenance. A strong simplicity argument for the installer.

Two valve versions
- Core DV – Ecosoft ceramic-diamond disc valve, no pre-filter, maintenance-free (ref. FU…DVCR).
- Core CI – Clack CI valve (Water Specialist), electronic volumetric, for pros who prefer the Clack platform (ref. FU…CIMVCR).
Sizing the Core
Choosing Core 110 / 150 / 250 depends on consumption, incoming hardness and number of people. Full method in How to size a water softener. If in doubt, the DIMM team will pre-size it with you.
Installation and maintenance
Installed on the main inlet, downstream of the meter, with a bypass; power supply nearby and a drain for regeneration water. The DV valve needs no pre-filter; minimal maintenance: check salt and residual hardness once or twice a year.
