The Bi-Block water softener

The Bi-Block is a two-piece water softener: a Structural resin bottle and a separate brine tank. Both parts can be installed separately, making it the ideal solution when floor space is tight or the plant-room layout calls for a free layout.

This modular architecture is an asset for your customers: depending on water consumption, the bottle and the brine tank can be sized independently, and maintenance is very easy (direct access to the tank, resin and valve, with no complex disassembly).

A wide choice of volumetric valves

The Bi-Block adapts to every installation thanks to a wide choice of volumetric valves, which trigger regeneration based on the actual volume of water consumed (not a simple time program):

Technical features

Whatever valve is chosen, the Bi-Block is built on proven components:

• Structural bottle – high-strength European composite tank
• Food-grade cationic resin – supplied in a bag
• Bypass – isolate the unit without cutting the supply
• Double safety – protection against overfilling
• Mixing – blending valve to set the residual hardness (recommended target: 5 °f)
• Brine tank – 25 L round (small models) or 70 L square with floor plate (large models); a 100/150 L round tank is also available

The Bi-Block covers 4 to 25 L of resin, with the matching bottle and brine tank:

Bottle and brine tank are modular depending on consumption. The brine tank is also available as a 100/150 L round tank for high autonomy.

TWIN version (duplex): continuous soft water

For high or non-stop demand (communities, process, commercial, holiday lets…), the Bi-Block TWIN uses two resin bottles: while one bottle regenerates, the other keeps producing soft water. The result: soft water 24/7, with no service gap during regeneration — a strong argument for your customers' high-demand projects.

Sizing the Bi-Block correctly

Choosing the capacity is not only about the number of people: you must combine water consumption, incoming hardness (°f) and the targeted regeneration frequency. Installation and maintenance

The Bi-Block is installed on the main water inlet, downstream of the meter, using the supplied bypass. As the bottle and brine tank can be placed separately, the layout stays flexible. Provide a power supply nearby (electronic valves) and a drain for the regeneration water.

Maintenance is minimal: check the salt level and top up the tank, verify the residual hardness once or twice a year, and schedule a periodic disinfection / valve service. DIMM ensures the availability of spare parts (valves, resin, seals, bypass, brine tanks) and technical support.
