ECOSOFT Core 110 — water softening by Ecosoft

The ECOSOFT Core 110 water softener is designed for apartments and family homes. It removes hardness (limescale) responsible for scaling in pipes, water heaters and household appliances, delivering soft water that is gentler on skin, more energy-efficient and reduces consumption of cleaning products. It relies on food-grade ion exchange resin and an Ecosoft DV ceramic disc valve, guaranteeing reliability and longevity.

Operation

Hard water passes through the resin bed which captures calcium and magnesium ions and exchanges them for sodium: water emerges softened. When the resin is saturated, the valve automatically triggers regeneration with brine (water + salt), controlled by volume to consume only the salt and water strictly necessary.

Installation & maintenance

The unit is installed on the main water inlet, after the meter, with a bypass allowing isolation for maintenance. Commissioning consists of setting the inlet hardness and regeneration time; maintenance is limited to salt top-ups and periodic checks.
