Overview

Bottle filter filled with Everzit carbonate media, on Fleck valve (ref. FL-2850-AIQ-NBP-EVERSIT-130). Bottle 18X65. This filtration station corrects pH in aggressive waters and protects plumbing at the point of entry to safeguard the entire installation. Supplied ready to install (filled bottle + valve + distribution), it treats mains water, well water or borehole water.

Filtration principle

This pH correction media neutralises aggressive waters (acidic, low alkalinity) that attack plumbing. By dissolving slowly in contact with water, it raises pH and adds hardness (calcium/magnesium), protecting pipes and equipment against corrosion. The media level requires periodic recharging as it is consumed.

Everzit Carbonate media

The bottle is filled with Everzit carbonate media on a gravel/flint support bed that distributes water and retains fines. Media volume: 130 L. Depending on the media, the bed is backwashed (carbon/Ecomix) or recharged when consumed (calcite/Corosex/Everzit), to maintain performance over time.

Valve & operation

The Fleck valve automatically controls cycles: service (filtration), backwash, rinse and return to service (and salt regeneration for Ecomix). Triggering is time-based or volume-based depending on the model; an integrated bypass isolates the filter without cutting off water.

Sizing & installation

Choose the size (bottle 18X65) according to peak flow rate and water quality. Provide drainage to the sewer for backwash and electrical supply for the valve. Install in a frost-free location on level ground; a sediment pre-filter upstream is recommended to protect the media.

Economy & ecology

Treating water at the point of entry protects the entire installation: less corrosion (pH correction), more pleasant water (carbon) and preserved equipment, resulting in fewer replacements and maintenance. Backwashing uses only water (and salt for Ecomix), with no polluting additives: effective treatment that respects the resource.

Media is selected according to water analysis: carbon for taste and chlorine, calcite/Corosex to raise aggressive pH, Ecomix for multi-problem well water. Plan for backwashing (sufficient flow rate and drainage) and, for pH correction media, periodic monitoring and recharging of the level as they are consumed. An upstream sediment pre-filter protects the media and extends intervals between backwashes, whilst regular water analysis allows valve settings to be adjusted.
