DUAL-BLOCK WATER SOFTENER 37L RESINS - 75L SQUARE SALT TANK CLACK LEGEND ELECTRONIC VOLUMETRIC VALVE BOTTLE 10X54 - DOUBLE SECURITY - BY-PASS - MIXING WITHOUT FITTINGS - ref. CLACK-LEGEND-BB-37

Overview

This dual-block water softener combines a resin bottle 10x54 containing 37 litres of ion exchange resin and a separate 75 L square salt tank. It is suitable for large homes, large households, small apartment buildings and commercial premises with high water consumption.

Clack Legend electronic volumetric valve

The Clack Legend valve automatically controls the softener cycles: service, backwash, brine draw, rinse and tank refill. In volumetric regeneration, it triggers regeneration based on the volume of water actually consumed, not at fixed intervals. Salt and water are thus used efficiently.

Equipment

• Resin: 37 L
• Bottle: 10x54
• Salt tank: 75 L, square
• Valve: Clack Legend, electronic volumetric
• Double security
• Integrated by-pass
• Integrated mixing

Mixing and by-pass

The mixing function allows raw water to be reintroduced to achieve the desired residual hardness at outlet, in °fH, rather than water at 0 °fH. The by-pass isolates the softener without cutting off the water supply, for maintenance or servicing.

Dual-block format

In dual-block configuration, the resin bottle and salt tank are two separate units. They can be positioned freely according to available space, and salt refilling remains easily accessible.

Installation

Install the softener in a frost-free location, on level ground, close to a drain connection for regeneration discharge and tank overflow. Provide an electrical supply for the valve. A sediment pre-filter upstream is recommended to protect the resin and valve. The softener is supplied without fittings: provide fittings suitable for the valve and pipework.
