The ARCA water softener

The ARCA is an all-in-one (monobloc) water softener — brine tank and resin bottle housed in a single cabinet — designed to be compact and discreet. Its small footprint lets it fit under a sink, in a utility room or a tight plant room, while effectively protecting the whole installation against limescale.

Available in three sizes (Small, Medium, Large), the ARCA covers needs from residential to light commercial. By removing scale, it protects the plumbing, the domestic hot water system and household appliances, and improves everyday comfort (skin, laundry, dishes).

The ARCA adapts to every installation thanks to a wide choice of volumetric valves, which trigger regeneration based on the actual volume of water consumed (not a simple time program):

Technical features

Whatever valve is chosen, the ARCA is built on proven components:

• Structural bottle – high-strength composite tank
• Dowex HCR-S/S resin – strong food-grade cationic resin, supplied in a bag
• Air check – brine overflow non-return valve
• Double safety – protection against overfilling
• Mixing – blending valve to set the residual hardness (recommended target: 5 °f)
• Riser tube – central distributor
• Stainless-steel bypass – isolate the unit without cutting the supply
• Connection kit – fittings supplied

Sizing your ARCA correctly

Choosing the size is not only about the number of people: you must combine water consumption, incoming hardness (°f) and the desired regeneration frequency. Installation and maintenance

The ARCA is installed on the main water inlet, downstream of the meter, using the supplied stainless-steel bypass. Provide a power supply nearby (for electronic valves) and a drain for regeneration water.

Maintenance is minimal: check the salt level regularly and top up the tank, verify the residual hardness once or twice a year, and schedule a periodic disinfection / valve service. DIMM ensures the availability of spare parts (valves, resin, seals, bypass) and technical support.
