Overview
This Clack elbow is designed for control valves in the WS1 series, which equip many water softeners and filters. It connects the valve to the pipework, on inlet or outlet. Its angled outlet orients the tubing and facilitates connection in confined spaces.

Why an elbow
The angled connector allows you to change direction directly at the valve outlet. You avoid an additional elbow on the pipework and save space when the water softener or filter is installed near a wall or in a confined area. The installation remains more compact and neater.
BSPT thread
The BSPT thread is tapered : sealing is achieved on the thread, using a sealant suitable for plastic fittings, such as PTFE tape. Do not confuse it with a cylindrical BSPP thread, which seals via a washer.
Installation
The elbow is fitted to the inlet or outlet of the WS1 valve, then connected to the pipework or bypass. Tighten moderately : on a plastic fitting, excessive tightening can damage the thread. Respect the flow direction indicated on the valve.
