Straight original Clack connector for WS1 valve, in Noryl, with 3/4" tapered male BSPT thread. It connects the inlet and outlet of a control valve from a water softener or filter to the pipework. Noryl, a technical material, resists corrosion and is unaffected by treated water.

Overview
This straight Clack connector is designed for control valves in the WS1 series, which equip many water softeners and filters. It provides the connection between the valve and the pipework, on inlet and outlet, for installations connected in 3/4".

Noryl
Noryl is a technical polymer widely used in water treatment. It does not corrode, withstands continuous contact with softened water and brine, and maintains dimensional stability over time. It is suitable for domestic and commercial installations with cold water.
BSPT thread
BSPT thread is tapered: sealing is achieved on the thread, using a sealant suitable for plastic connectors, such as PTFE tape. Do not confuse it with a cylindrical BSPP thread, which achieves sealing through a seal.
Installation
The connector is fitted to the inlet or outlet of the WS1 valve, then connected to the pipework or bypass. Tighten moderately: on a plastic connector, excessive tightening can damage the thread. Respect the flow direction indicated on the valve.
