One wrench, three formats
The Aquapro PR-WRS wrench fits AEG 10", AYT 10" and AQF 5" filter housings. A single tool therefore covers several installations.
Why the dedicated wrench
A filter housing bowl is made of polymer. Slip-joint pliers or a strap wrench press on a few points only and crack the bowl. The dedicated wrench matches the bowl profile and spreads the load around the full circumference.
Best practice
Shut off the water supply and depressurise the line before loosening. On reassembly, tighten by hand: the wrench is there to break a stuck bowl loose, not to over-tighten.
