The Ecosoft sans média CE TWIN industrial softener is a TWIN with continuous alternation (two tanks: softened water 24/7) set, supplied without media (ready-to-fill set: FRP tank, valve and brine tank), to receive the resin or ECOMIX® of your choice, designed for local authorities, the commercial sector, hospitality, industry and processes (boiler rooms, cooling towers, laundries, food industry, borehole water). It reduces the hardness (calcium and magnesium) that scales up heat exchangers, boilers, pipes and equipment, protecting installations, reducing energy use and securing processes. It is driven by a Ecosoft CE 1" valve with automatic control and multilingual menu.

How it works

Hard water flows through the media bed, which captures calcium and magnesium (and, depending on the media, iron and manganese) and exchanges them for sodium: the water leaves softened. When capacity is reached, the valve starts a counter-current brine regeneration to fully restore capacity while optimising salt and water use. The full cycle — backwash, brine draw, slow then fast rinse and return to service — is fully automatic and preferably triggered during low-demand periods.

Why soften water in a professional environment?

Hard water scales heat exchangers, boilers, cooling towers and production machines: energy efficiency drops, maintenance stops multiply and equipment life shortens. By removing hardness, the industrial softener protects the production tool, stabilises processes and cuts costs.

This set targets high-consumption networks: collective domestic hot-water production, steam boilers and heating circuits, cooling towers, laundries, food processing, cosmetics, surface treatment, borehole water and pre-treatment ahead of reverse osmosis. By protecting exchangers and membranes, it improves process reliability.

Installation & sizing

The unit is fitted on the main water supply, after the meter, with an isolation by-pass. Sizing depends on inlet hardness (°f), peak flow and daily volume: our technicians help you select the right model, media and volume, plus options (mixing, TWIN/DUPLEX kits, brine tank, preconfigured DLFC and injector).

Made in Belgium. High-pressure FRP composite tank, Ecosoft/WS valve with lead-free brass (high flow) or PVC depending on the model, upper and lower distributors, selected DLFC and injector. Counter-current regeneration for a clean system and reduced maintenance.

Ready-to-fill set — full flexibility

Supplied without media, this ready-to-run set (FRP tank, preconfigured valve, selected DLFC and injector, brine tank and accessories) lets you choose the media best suited to your water: cation-exchange resin for classic softening, or ECOMIX® to treat hardness, iron, manganese, organic matter and ammonium at once. Ideal for installers who already have their media or tailor the charge to a precise water analysis.

Routine maintenance is limited to salt resupply, checking residual hardness and periodic valve inspection. The widely used Ecosoft/WS valve ensures long-term spare-part availability and responsive after-sales service. Salt, media & consumables

The softener runs on regeneration salt (tablets) kept in the brine tank. DIMM offers salt, ion-exchange resin and ECOMIX® refill, stainless ACS hoses, mixing valves, TWIN/DUPLEX kits, meters and maintenance parts in the related products.
