CLACK TWIN industrial water softener with alternation, 2 × 8 L resin

This industrial water softener is designed for industry, tertiary sector and collective housing. It is based on two bottles controlled by a single valve, in alternation, for soft water continuously 24/24 and on a Clack WS1" valve, world reference for regeneration valve, recognised for its robustness and longevity. By removing hardness (limescale), it protects heat exchangers, boilers, cooling towers, laundries and processes against scaling, secures energy efficiency and reduces maintenance costs.

TWIN alternation configuration

Two bottles controlled by a single valve, in alternation, for soft water continuously 24/24: alternation guarantees permanent soft water, even during regeneration. Volumetric control triggers salt regeneration according to actual consumption, to use only the salt and water necessary.

Why soften water in professional environments?

Limescale is the silent enemy of installations: a few millimetres of deposit on a heating element or heat exchanger is enough to reduce efficiency and multiply breakdowns. Softened water extends the life of equipment, stabilises processes, reduces energy and detergent consumption, and limits production downtime. On hot water networks and heating circuits, softening is the first anti-scaling barrier.

Correct sizing depends on water hardness (°TH), peak flow rate and daily volume consumed. A resin volume adapted to your needs guarantees stable soft water without overly frequent regenerations; a correctly sized salt tank spaces out refilling. In duplex or TWIN configuration, availability is continuous, which is essential in process, collective or catering applications where any interruption of soft water is costly. Installation & maintenance

The unit connects to the main inlet, after the meter, with an isolation bypass for maintenance. Commissioning consists of setting the inlet hardness, treated volume and regeneration cycles. Routine maintenance is limited to filling the salt tank and periodic checks of outlet hardness. DIMM handles assembly, commissioning, spare parts availability and technical support throughout the system's life.

High-pressure FRP composite bottles, food-grade ion exchange resin, proven Clack valve, materials in contact with water compliant, CE design. Each softener is assembled and tested by DIMM, with warranty and after-sales service network in Belgium and France.

Salt & consumables

The softener operates with regeneration salt in pellet form, to be maintained in the salt tank. Depending on hardness and flow rate, plan for appropriate refilling and periodic resin cleaner. DIMM supplies salt, hoses, fittings, bypass kits and maintenance parts compatible with associated products.
