Industrial CLACK water softener simplex, 150 L resin

This industrial water softening unit is designed for catering, hospitality and food service (CHR/HORECA). It is based on a single resin column for reliable and compact softening and on a Clack WS2" valve, the worldwide reference for regeneration valves, recognised for its robustness and longevity. By removing hardness (limescale), it protects heat exchangers, boilers, cooling towers, laundries and processes against scaling, secures energy efficiency and reduces maintenance costs.

Simplex configuration

A single resin column for reliable and compact softening: during regeneration, softened water is temporarily interrupted (plan regeneration at night). Electronic control triggers salt regeneration according to actual consumption, using only the salt and water required.

Why soften water in professional settings?

Limescale is the silent enemy of installations: just a few millimetres of deposit on a heating element or heat exchanger is enough to reduce efficiency and multiply breakdowns. Softened water extends equipment lifespan, stabilises processes, reduces energy and detergent consumption, and limits production downtime. On hot water supply networks and heating circuits, softening is the first anti-scaling barrier.

Sizing your softener correctly

Correct sizing depends on water hardness (°TH), peak flow rate and daily consumption volume. An appropriately sized resin volume guarantees stable soft water without overly frequent regenerations; a correctly sized salt tank spaces out refilling intervals. In duplex or TWIN configuration, availability is continuous, which is essential in process, collective or CHR applications where any interruption in soft water supply is costly. Installation & maintenance

The unit connects to the main water inlet, after the meter, with an isolation bypass for maintenance. Commissioning consists of setting the inlet hardness, treated volume and regeneration cycles. Routine maintenance is limited to refilling the salt tank and periodic checks of outlet hardness. DIMM handles assembly, commissioning, spare parts availability and technical support throughout the system's lifespan.

Salt & consumables
