This Fleck industrial filter DN 80 from the Industrial Filtration range is installed inline at the entry point of a high-flow installation: industrial site, multi-unit building, tertiary network or supply from well and borehole. It retains sediments (sand, rust, soil, pipe debris) before they reach sensitive equipment.

Automatic backwash principle

Water passes through a 200 µm filter cartridge that stops solid particles. Backwash is triggered automatically: deposits are discharged to the sewer without manual operation or disassembly. The filter maintains stable flow, even with heavily laden water, without the need to monitor clogging.

Why 200 microns

The 200 µm fineness is suitable for pre-filtration of coarse particles: sand, gravel, rust, debris. It is a first stage of protection for pumps, valves, heat exchangers and treatment equipment located downstream. For sensitive equipment such as a water softener, reverse osmosis unit or UV system, complement with finer filtration.

Installation

The filter is installed inline, upstream of the equipment to be protected, with isolation valves and a bypass for maintenance. Provide a connection to the sewer for discharge of backwash water. Install in a frost-free location with clear access.

Choosing correctly

This filter retains sediments. It does not treat taste, chlorine or hardness. For these parameters, complement downstream with a carbon filter, water softener or reverse osmosis unit. In the same range, a semi-automatic backwash version is available for installations where manual operation is sufficient.
