Overview

This Fleck industrial filter DN 80 is installed inline at the entry point of a high-flow installation: industrial site, collective building, tertiary network or supply from well and borehole. It retains sediments (sand, rust, soil, pipe debris) before they reach sensitive equipment.

Semi-automatic rinsing principle

Water passes through a filter screen that stops solid particles. When the screen becomes clogged, rinsing is triggered by a simple operation. The filter then evacuates deposits to the drain, without dismantling and without interrupting supply for long. The screen is reusable, so there is no consumable to replace at each maintenance.

Installation

The filter is installed inline, upstream of the equipment to be protected, with isolation valves for maintenance. Provide a connection to the drain for evacuation of rinsing water, and leave clear access to the rinsing control. Install protected from frost.

Maintenance

Rinse as soon as flow decreases or pressure drop increases. Frequency depends on the particle load in the water. On heavily loaded water, regular rinsing maintains constant flow and protects the screen.

Choosing correctly

This filter retains sediments. It does not treat taste, chlorine or hardness. For these parameters, it is complemented downstream by a carbon filter, a water softener or a reverse osmosis unit. The DIMM team helps you size the filter and compose the treatment chain suited to your needs.
