Floteck Triton water softener — 18 L resin

The Floteck Triton is a compact all-in-one model (resin and salt tank integrated) designed for apartments and individual homes. It removes hardness (limescale) responsible for scaling in water heaters, pipework and appliances, for softer water that is more pleasant for skin, hair and laundry, and more economical in energy and cleaning products. It combines food-grade ion exchange resin with a Floteck 85 volumetric valve, with volume-controlled regeneration. White/blue finish with refined design, which fits seamlessly in a utility room or living space.

How it works

Hard water passes through the resin bed which captures calcium and magnesium and exchanges them for sodium: water emerges softened. When the resin is saturated, the valve automatically triggers regeneration with brine (water + salt), volume-controlled to consume only the salt and water strictly necessary. Volumetric regeneration adapts cycles to the household's actual consumption, without unnecessary forcing.

The unit is installed on the main water inlet, after the meter, with a bypass allowing isolation for maintenance. Commissioning consists of setting the inlet hardness and regeneration mode; maintenance is limited to salt top-ups and periodic checks. Choosing the right capacity

The correct resin volume depends on your water hardness (°TH) and the number of people in the household. An undersized model regenerates too often; a properly sized model spaces out regenerations and optimises salt consumption. Salt & consumables

The softener operates with regeneration salt in pellet form, to be maintained in the tank. Depending on hardness and consumption, plan for appropriate replenishment and periodic resin cleaner.
