The Fleck 5600 Myra softener is a compact all-in-one model (resin and salt tank integrated) designed for apartments and individual homes. It removes hardness (limescale) responsible for scaling in water heaters, pipework and appliances, delivering softer water that is gentler on skin, hair and laundry, whilst reducing energy consumption and cleaning product usage. It combines food-grade ion exchange resin with a reliable Fleck 5600 valve with volumetric control. Black finish with refined design, fitting seamlessly into a utility room or living space.

Operation

Hard water passes through the resin bed which captures calcium and magnesium and exchanges them for sodium: water emerges softened. When the resin is saturated, the valve automatically triggers regeneration with brine (water + salt), controlled by volume to consume only the salt and water strictly necessary.

Choosing the right capacity

The correct resin volume depends on your water hardness (°TH) and the number of people in the household. An undersized model regenerates too frequently; a correctly sized model spaces out regenerations and optimises salt consumption.
