Introducing the Hapy Water Softener
The Hapy water softener offers exceptional ease of maintenance thanks to its unique separation chamber for brine and reservoir, allowing cleaning and maintenance without dismantling. Designed to resist stress and cracking, it features a removable cover for direct access to the brine compartment without needing to remove the valve.
Its cabinet can accommodate bottles up to 10" × 35" and its structure, made of polypropylene for both body and cover, ensures strength and durability. The 2-element system (tank + separate bottle) provides unmatched installation and maintenance flexibility.
Available in 5 capacities (8 L, 18 L, 22 L, 25 L and 30 L) and with 7 valve options, the Hapy adapts to all residential and semi-professional installations.
Certifications – The Hapy is certified CE, NSF, RoHS, Water Quality, ACS and carries the Pentair mark.
7 valve options
The Hapy is available with 7 valve options to suit all installation requirements:
- 8100 Valve – electronic volumetric, co-current. Reliable and proven solution
- Fleck 5600 SXT Valve – electronic volumetric, market reference. Digital display, flexible programming
- Fleck 5600 Valve – mechanical volumetric (ECO). Robust and economical, no electronics
- Fleck 5800 SXT Valve – electronic volumetric. High performance for demanding installations
- Fleck 5800 XTR Valve – colour touchscreen, electronic volumetric. Latest-generation intuitive interface
- Autotrol 360i/06 Valve – mechanical volumetric, compact 120 mm valve. Proven mechanical reliability
- Autotrol 255-760 Easy iQ Valve – colour multilingual display, USB-C, holiday mode. For bottles up to 14"
All valves offer a volumetric mode with metering. The bypass, dual safety and mixing valve are included as standard on all models.

Design and construction
The Hapy combines practicality and durability through its separate 2-element design. The injection-moulded polypropylene tank offers remarkable structural strength and resistance to stress and cracking.
- 2-element tank – separate salt tank and bottle for maximum flexibility
- Unique separation chamber – cleaning and maintenance without dismantling the system
- Removable cover – direct access to the brine compartment without removing the valve
- Polypropylene structure – PP body and cover, robust and durable
- Bottles up to 10" × 35" – wide compatibility for all capacities
- Tool-free separation of the 2 bodies – simplified maintenance

Sizing
The choice of Hapy model (8 L to 30 L) depends on water hardness, the number of occupants and the consumption profile. The 8 L model (Small format) is suitable for small spaces and low consumption, while the 18 to 30 L models (Large format) are suited for residential and semi-professional installations.

Installation
- Position the water softener near the main water inlet, on a flat and stable surface, protected from frost
- Assemble the bottle and salt tank according to the assembly instructions
- Connect the water inlet and outlet via the integrated bypass, using mandatory flexible hoses
- Connect the drain hose to a regulation siphon (mandatory)
- Connect the power supply (transformer provided, except for mechanical valves)
- Fill the salt tank with tablet salt
- Programme the unit according to the chosen valve: operating mode, resin capacity and cycle times
- Run an initial regeneration cycle
- Adjust the mixing valve to the desired residual hardness
Regulatory requirement – A non-return valve must be installed upstream of the water softener, in accordance with applicable regulations.
Routine maintenance
- Salt level – check regularly and top up with tablet salt
- Salt tank cleaning – once a year to remove deposits. Thanks to the separation chamber, cleaning is done without dismantling
- Resin cleaner – an annual treatment extends the exchange capacity
- Hardness check – test residual hardness regularly with a TH test kit
- Removable cover – allows quick access to the brine compartment for inspection
