Water softener Fleck 5600 SXT Hapy 8 L - ref. FL-5600-SXT-HAPY-08

Hapy 8 L monobloc water softener with resin, Fleck 5600 SXT electronic volumetric valve. Bottle 8 x 17, dual safety, stainless steel bypass and mixing. Compact format for small dwellings or point-of-use applications.

Extended description

The Fleck 5600 Hapy water softener is a compact all-in-one model (resin and salt tank integrated) designed for small dwellings and point-of-use applications. It reduces water hardness responsible for scaling in water heaters, pipework and appliances. It combines food-grade ion exchange resin with a Fleck 5600 valve featuring an SXT electronic volumetric controller.

Operation

Hard water passes through the resin bed which captures calcium and magnesium and exchanges them for sodium: water emerges softened. When the resin is saturated, the valve automatically initiates brine regeneration (water + salt), controlled by volume to consume only the salt and water strictly necessary.

Why soften water

Hard water deposits scale in pipework, hot water tanks and heating elements: energy consumption rises, appliances wear out and taps become scaled. By eliminating hardness, the water softener extends the service life of equipment, reduces energy bills and decreases the use of soaps and detergents.

The Fleck 5600 valve

A world reference in domestic water treatment, the Fleck 5600 valve combines reliability, economical regeneration and precise cycle control. Composite bottle, selected resin and volumetric control guarantee stable performance and low salt and water consumption.

Daily use

Beyond equipment protection, softened water leaves fewer limescale marks on taps, showerheads and dishes, and makes laundry softer. The water heater and washing machine maintain their efficiency longer, reducing energy consumption and breakdowns. Compact and silent, the unit works continuously while remaining unobtrusive.

Installation and maintenance

The unit is installed on the main water inlet, after the meter, with a bypass allowing isolation for maintenance. Commissioning consists of setting the inlet hardness and regeneration time; maintenance is limited to salt refilling and periodic checks. DIMM ensures the availability of spare parts and technical support throughout the service life.

Choosing the right capacity

The correct resin volume depends on water hardness (°fH) and the number of people in the household. An undersized model regenerates too frequently; a properly sized model spaces out regenerations and optimises salt consumption. At 8 L, this format suits small dwellings, studios and point-of-use applications. Our technicians help select the capacity best suited to the installation.

Quality and compliance

High-pressure FRP composite bottle, food-grade ion exchange resin, proven Fleck valve, materials in contact with water compliant, CE design. Each water softener is assembled and tested by DIMM, with warranty and after-sales service network in Belgium and France.

Salt and consumables

The water softener operates with regeneration salt in pellet form, to be maintained in the tank. Depending on hardness and consumption, plan for appropriate replenishment and periodic resin cleaner. DIMM supplies salt, hoses, fittings and maintenance parts compatible with associated products.
