Why meter water

Principle

How it works

The multi-jet principle spreads water onto the turbine through several ports, improving accuracy and life versus single-jet. Dry dial, anti-fraud magnetic drive, R=80 ratio horizontally, sealed external adjustment screw. The pulse output (12 values) feeds remote reading and sub-metering.

The pulse output

The pulse output turns a water volume into electrical signals: each pulse corresponds to a preset volume (pulse value, adjustable among several values). Connected to a logger, PLC or BMS, it enables remote reading, leak alarms, allocation and volume-proportional control. Depending on the model, two outputs (identical or different) and flow direction are available.

Installation & maintenance

Installation is on a full pipe, in the arrow direction, preferably horizontal to preserve accuracy (maximum ratio). Follow the recommended upstream/downstream straight lengths and fit a strainer upstream to protect the mechanism. Isolation valves ease removal. Maintenance is minimal: periodic checks and replacement at metrological end of life.
