Overview

Bottle filter filled with natural zeolite, on Fleck valve (ref. FL-5800-SXT-ZEOLITE-60). Bottle 13X54. Valve 5800. This filtration station provides fine filtration and ammonia reduction at the point of entry to protect the entire installation. Supplied ready to install (filled bottle + valve + distribution), it treats mains water, well water or borehole water.

Filtration principle

Natural zeolite is a microporous media with very large surface area that filters fine particles and reduces ammonia through ion exchange. It clarifies water, improves downstream treatment stages and regenerates/cleans itself through backwashing, for clearer and better protected water.

Zeolite Media

The bottle is filled with natural zeolite on a gravel/flint support bed that distributes water and retains fines. Media volume: 61.5L. Depending on the media, the bed is backwashed (carbon/Ecomix) or recharged when consumed (calcite/Corosex/Everzit), to maintain performance over time.

Valve & operation

The 5800 valve automatically controls cycles: service (filtration), backwash, rinse and return to service (and salt regeneration for Ecomix). Triggering is time-based or volume-based depending on the model; an integrated bypass isolates the filter without cutting off water.

Sizing & installation

Choose the size (bottle 13X54) according to peak flow rate and water quality. Provide a drain connection for backwashing and electrical supply for the valve. Install in a frost-free location on level ground; an upstream sediment pre-filter is recommended to protect the media.

Economy & ecology

Treating water at the point of entry protects the entire installation: less corrosion (pH correction), more pleasant water (carbon) and preserved equipment, therefore fewer replacements and maintenance. Backwashing uses only water (and salt for Ecomix), with no polluting additives: effective treatment that respects the resource.

Media is chosen according to water analysis: carbon for taste and chlorine, calcite/Corosex to raise aggressive pH, Ecomix for multi-problem well water. Plan for backwashing (sufficient flow rate and drainage) and, for pH correction media, periodic level monitoring and recharging as they are consumed. An upstream sediment pre-filter protects the media and spaces out backwashes, whilst regular water analysis allows you to adjust the valve setting.
