Overview

Bottle filter filled with natural zeolite, on Fleck valve (ref. FL-3150-NXT-NBP-ZEOLITE-500). This filtration station provides fine filtration and ammonia reduction at the point of entry to protect the entire installation. Supplied ready to install (filled bottle + valve + distribution), it treats mains water, well water or borehole water.

Filtration principle

Natural zeolite is a microporous media with very large surface area that filters fine particles and reduces ammonia through ion exchange. It clarifies water, improves downstream treatment stages and regenerates/cleans itself through backwashing, for clearer and better protected water.

Zeolite media

The bottle is filled with natural zeolite on a gravel/flint support bed that distributes water and retains fines. Media volume: 509.4 L. Depending on the media, the bed is backwashed (charcoal/Ecomix) or recharged when consumed (calcite/Corosex/Everzit), to maintain performance over time.

Valve & operation

The Fleck valve automatically controls cycles: service (filtration), backwash, rinse and return to service (and salt regeneration for Ecomix). Triggering is time-based or volume-based depending on the model; an integrated bypass isolates the filter without cutting off water.

Sizing & installation

Choose the size according to peak flow rate and water quality. Provide a drain connection for backwashing and electrical supply for the valve. Install in a frost-free location on level ground; an upstream sediment pre-filter is recommended to protect the media.

Economy & ecology

Treating water at the point of entry protects the entire installation: less corrosion (pH correction), more pleasant water (charcoal) and preserved equipment, therefore fewer replacements and maintenance. Backwashing uses only water (and salt for Ecomix), with no polluting additives: effective treatment that respects the resource.

To choose correctly, have your water analysed (pH, TAC, chlorine, iron) and estimate the peak flow rate. The media is chosen according to water analysis: charcoal for taste and chlorine, calcite/Corosex to raise aggressive pH, Ecomix for multi-problem well water. Plan for backwashing (sufficient flow rate and drainage) and, for pH correction media, periodic level monitoring and recharging as they are consumed. An upstream sediment pre-filter protects the media and spaces out backwashes, while regular water analysis allows you to adjust the valve settings.
