Single mounting clip Ø 2"1/2
Mounting clip for inline cartridges of 2"1/2 diameter. The cartridge snaps into it, the clip screws onto a wall or panel. Single version: one cartridge per clip.
Why fix an inline cartridge
An inline cartridge has no built-in support. Without a clip it hangs from its two quick-connect fittings, and that is where the trouble starts.
The weight of the full cartridge, vibration, pressure surges and handling inside the cabinet work the fittings constantly. Over time this leads to a fatigued collet, a tube that disengages, or a slow leak going unnoticed behind a cabinet panel.
The clip takes over the mechanical load. The fittings then carry only pressure, which is what they are designed for.
Benefits on installation
A clean assembly. The cartridge sits in place, aligned, instead of dangling from the tubing. On a visible installation or a job at a customer's site, the difference shows.
Faster replacement. The cartridge unclips, is swapped and clips back in the same position, no repositioning, no tubing to re-route.
Less tubing length. A cartridge fixed at a defined point allows lengths to be cut exactly, with no safety slack.
The single version
This version holds one cartridge. On a multi-stage inline chain, prefilter, carbon, post-carbon, simply line up several single clips, which leaves the freedom to space out or rearrange the cartridges according to available room.
Fitting
Check the cartridge diameter: this clip is designed for 2"1/2. A 2" cartridge will not be held correctly.
Fix the clip before connecting the tubing, onto a rigid support, cabinet panel, board, mounting plate. Snap in the cartridge following the flow direction shown by the arrow, then connect.
Leave slight slack in the tubing on both sides: the clip must hold the cartridge, not put the fittings under tension.
