Overview

Nettoyant 0,5 Litre BoilerMag (ref. ECL-BM-3), water treatment for heating circuits. Cleaner/de-sludger for heating circuits: it loosens and suspends sludge and magnetite for removal during a flush, restoring circulation and heat transfer.

Role & benefits

A chemically treated heating circuit keeps its efficiency: less sludge, less corrosion, less scale. It reduces energy consumption, avoids pump and valve failures and extends the life of the boiler and emitters. The product is used alongside a magnetic dirt separator.

Dosing & application

Introduce the product into the circuit (via a dosing point, a radiator or the filling loop) at the recommended dose per water volume of the installation. Circulate to homogenise. For de-sludging, combine cleaner then flush, then re-protect with the inhibitor.

Compatibility & precautions

Compatible with the common metals and materials of heating circuits (steel, cast iron, copper, brass, aluminium, multilayer, PEX). Respect the dosage and the product safety sheet; do not mix inhibitor and cleaner in the same phase (clean and flush first, then protect). Store frost-free and out of reach of children.

Good to know

Install the separator on the return, as close as possible to the boiler, with isolation valves for maintenance without draining. After a chemical de-sludge, flush then re-protect with an inhibitor. Bleed air and drain sludge regularly in the first year (new or heavily fouled circuit), then at each annual service. A separator does not replace chemical treatment: both are complementary, the magnet retaining magnetite continuously while the inhibitor protects the metals and the cleaner loosens old deposits.
