Overview

Scale inhibitor SAAS M20, refill B (ref. JUB-M20-B). Scale-inhibitor charge for the SAAS M20 doser: it gradually releases the inhibitor (polyphosphate/silicate type) into the water to prevent equipment scaling, without softening or demineralising the water.

Role & operation

Placed in the M20 doser, the refill delivers a controlled dose of inhibitor as water flows. The inhibitor sequesters the scale-causing ions and protects water heaters, wall boilers, safety groups and taps. Consumption depends on flow and hardness; the refill is replaced when spent.

Compatibility & replacement

Compatible with the SAAS M20 doser/inhibitor holder. Shut off the water, open the doser body, replace the charge, close and bleed. Periodically check the level. Keep the exact reference (A/B/C by format) for re-supply.

Good practice

Regularly check the charge condition, especially on very hard water or high flow, and note the replacement date to ensure continuous dosing. Inhibition limits scale but does not replace descaling if the installation is already scaled. Pair with a sediment pre-filter upstream for better, longer-lasting results.

Good to know
