Industrial simplex water softener Clack - 1000 L resin

This industrial water softener is designed for industry, tertiary sector and collective housing. It is based on a single resin column and a Clack WS2QC CI electronic valve. By reducing water hardness, it protects heat exchangers, boilers, cooling towers, laundries and process lines against scale formation.

Simplex configuration

A single resin column: during regeneration, softened water supply is temporarily interrupted, so it is advisable to schedule regeneration at night. Volume-controlled regeneration triggers salt regeneration based on actual consumption, not at a fixed time, to use only the salt and water necessary.

Sizing your water softener correctly

Sizing depends on water hardness (°fH), peak flow rate and daily volume consumed. An appropriately sized resin volume provides stable soft water without overly frequent regenerations; a correctly sized salt tank spaces out refilling. For an installation that cannot tolerate softened water interruption, our technicians will guide you towards a duplex or TWIN configuration rather than simplex.

Installation and maintenance

The unit connects to the main water inlet, after the meter, with an isolation bypass for maintenance. Commissioning consists of setting the inlet hardness, treated volume and regeneration cycles. Routine maintenance is limited to refilling the salt tank and periodic checks of outlet hardness. DIMM handles assembly, commissioning, spare parts availability and technical support.

Salt and consumables

The water softener operates with regeneration salt in pellet form, to be maintained in the salt tank. Depending on hardness and flow rate, plan for appropriate refilling and periodic resin cleaner. DIMM supplies salt, hoses, fittings, bypass kits and maintenance parts compatible with associated products.
