EPDM-ACS flexible hose DN20, 1000 mm, 3/4"F × 3/4"FC, stainless braid

Sanitary connection hose in DN20, 1000 mm long. The inner core is EPDM, the outer braid stainless steel. The ends are 3/4" straight female on one side and 3/4" angled female on the other (20×27 F × 20×27 FC).

ACS certified

The hose carries ACS certification (Attestation de Conformité Sanitaire), confirming that the materials in contact with the water are fit for carrying water intended for human consumption. This is the level required on any drinking water installation in France and the reference inspection bodies ask for.

The 1000 mm length

One metre is the length to pick as soon as the appliance sits away from the take-off, is offset in height, or is installed in a crowded plant room. It avoids putting the hose under tension, the first cause of leaks at the nut, and allows the appliance to be removed without disconnecting the whole line. Over a short distance, choose a shorter length: an overlong hose forms loops that block access and fatigue the braid.

Why a flexible hose rather than a rigid connection

A flexible hose absorbs misalignment between the appliance and the pipework, damps vibration, and allows removal for servicing without touching the mains. The angled end saves an extra elbow and reduces the depth needed behind the appliance.

Connection of softeners, filter housings, RO systems, water heaters, safety groups and sanitary appliances.

Never twist the hose during installation: hold one nut while tightening the other. Keep a generous bend radius and never put the hose under tension. Check the nut seals and pressure-test the connection before closing up.
