Flexible hose DN20 3/4"F × 3/4"F - 1000 mm

Sanitary connection hose in DN20, 1000 mm long, with two swivel female 3/4" nuts (20×27), a straight female-to-female connection at both ends. EPDM inner core, stainless steel outer braid.

ACS certification

The hose is ACS certified, Attestation de Conformité Sanitaire. This approval, mandatory in France for any material in contact with water intended for human consumption, guarantees that the inner core releases no undesirable substances into the water.

On a water treatment installation this is not a detail: the hose is in permanent contact with the distributed water. An uncertified hose fitted downstream of a softener or an RO system can compromise the very water quality the whole treatment chain was built to deliver.

EPDM core and stainless braid

EPDM is an elastomer known for its resistance to hot water, its ageing resistance and its chemical stability. It does not harden or crack like standard rubber under repeated hot/cold cycles.

The stainless steel braid does two jobs. It contains the pressure, the core alone would expand, and it protects mechanically against abrasion and rubbing in a crowded space. Stainless resists corrosion, including in damp plant rooms.

1000 mm length

A metre gives slack for connections where the gap between connection points is large, or where equipment has to be routed around. The hose absorbs misalignment between two fixed points: it avoids forcing threads and leaving fittings under permanent stress, the first cause of slow leaks.

Where to use it

Connection of water softeners, filter housings, safety groups, bypasses and any treatment appliance with 3/4" ports. Double female 20×27 is the standard configuration facing two male nipples.

Fitting

Fit a fibre or flat gasket in each nut, sealing takes place on the gasket, not on the thread. Tighten by hand, then a quarter turn with a spanner: beyond that you crush the gasket without gaining any seal. Never twist the hose during assembly, and keep a generous bend radius: a tightly bent hose fatigues and eventually fails at the crimp.
