DMfit union elbow 1/4" × 1/4"

90° elbow with a 1/4" push-fit tube connector at both ends. The tube pushes fully into the collet and locks itself, with no tools, no glue and no seal to fit.

Why an elbow rather than a bent tube

Polyethylene tubing copes badly with tight bend radii. Forced, it goes oval, kinks, or eventually creeps: the bore narrows, flow drops, and close to a fitting the seal degrades.

The elbow solves that: it makes the 90° change of direction with a constant bore and relieves the tube of all mechanical stress.

In practice, this is the fitting that lets a run follow a wall, clear a cabinet upright, or leave an appliance tight against a partition, where the tube alone would demand an impossible radius.

Where to use it

On any 1/4" tubing installation: RO systems, water coolers, coffee machines, American-style fridges, dosing lines. Particularly useful in tight spaces, under-sink cupboard, behind an appliance, a run turning a corner.

DMfit quality

DMfit fittings are push-fit fittings with a food-grade polymer body, a stainless steel locking collet and an integrated O-ring. They hold pressure without creep and take repeated disconnection cycles without losing their seal.

Fitting

Cut both tubes square with a proper tube cutter for a clean section, then push them fully home to the stop. Pull gently on each side to confirm they have locked. Let the tube enter the elbow free of stress: a tube already under tension upstream will keep pulling on the fitting once pressurised.

Pressurise and check for leaks before closing up the installation.
