Cintropur, 100 microns NW 50/62/75/500/650/800 SET 5 FILTER SLEEVES (ref. CINTRO-FWVC100NW500)

Overview

This set comprises 5 filter sleeves for industrial Cintropur NW 500, NW 650 and NW 800 filters, also compatible with models NW 50, NW 62 and NW 75. With their 100 micron fineness, they retain sand, soil, rust and coarse suspended particles in water. This is the essential consumable for maintaining filter performance over time.

Role in the filter

In a Cintropur, the centrifugal impeller first precipitates heavy particles to the bottom of the bowl. The filter sleeve then intervenes and stops remaining particles according to its fineness. A clean sleeve guarantees constant flow rate and low pressure drop. When it becomes clogged, flow rate decreases and protection of downstream equipment diminishes.

Why 100 microns

A fineness of 100 µm is suitable for coarse pre-filtration: well water, borehole or rainwater harvesting laden with sand and debris, irrigation, protection of pumps and valves. With its larger mesh, the sleeve clogs less quickly and replacements are spaced further apart. To protect sensitive equipment such as a water softener, reverse osmosis unit or UV system, downstream fine filtration should be added.

Replacement

Thanks to the transparent bowl of the Cintropur, you can see directly when the sleeve is clogged. After closing the water inlet and depressurising the filter, remove the bowl, replace the sleeve and return to service. The operation takes a few minutes.

Compatibility

These sleeves are designed for Cintropur NW 500 (2"), NW 650 and NW 800 (3") filters, as well as NW 50, NW 62 and NW 75. Models NW 280, NW 340 and NW 400 use sieves of different dimensions. The DIMM team will help you identify the sieve suited to your filter.
