Overview
Filter on bottle filled with AG filtration sand (silica/quartz), on Clack valve (ref. CLACK-WS1.25CI-AG-140). Bottle 21X62. WS1 valve. This filtration station ensures filtration of particles and turbidity at the point of entry to protect the entire installation. Supplied ready to install (filled bottle + valve + distribution), it treats mains water, well water or borehole water.
Filtration principle
Filtration sand (calibrated silica/quartz, AG sand) retains suspended particles and turbidity through deep mechanical filtration. Economical and robust, it constitutes an excellent first stage of clarification and protects downstream media and equipment. The bed is cleaned by backwash which decloggs and evacuates sludge.
AG Sand media
The bottle is filled with AG filtration sand (silica/quartz) on a gravel/silica support bed which distributes water and retains fines. Media volume: 141.5L. Depending on the media, the bed is backwashed (carbon/Ecomix) or recharged when it becomes depleted (calcite/Corosex/Everzit), to maintain performance over time.
Valve & operation
The WS1 valve automatically controls cycles: service (filtration), backwash, rinse and return to service (and salt regeneration for Ecomix). Triggering is time-based or volume-based depending on the model; an integrated bypass isolates the filter without cutting off water.
Sizing & installation
Choose the size (bottle 21X62) according to peak flow rate and water quality. Provide a drain outlet for backwash and electrical supply for the valve. Install in a frost-free location on level ground; an upstream sediment pre-filter is recommended to preserve the media.
Economy & ecology
Treating water at the point of entry protects the entire installation: less corrosion (pH correction), more pleasant water (carbon) and preserved equipment, therefore fewer replacements and maintenance. Backwash uses only water (and salt for Ecomix), without polluting additives: effective treatment that respects the resource.
Choosing correctly
To choose correctly, have your water analysed (pH, TAC, chlorine, iron) and estimate the peak flow rate. The media is chosen according to need: carbon (taste/chlorine), calcite/Corosex/Everzit (pH correction), Ecomix (multi-parameter). The DIMM team helps you size the bottle, valve and pre-treatment.

DIMM service & support
DIMM designs, assembles and ships turnkey bottle filters (Aquacarb/Carbsorb carbon, pH correction Calcite/Corosex/Everzit, multilayer Ecomix) on Clack valves, as well as hoses and accessories. Our teams analyse your water, size the bottle and valve and advise you on the appropriate media and pre-treatment. Each reference is identified by its article code, with manufacturer warranty, spare parts and refill media available. From advice to commissioning, we support installers and individuals, from sizing the bottle and valve to choosing the media and maintenance follow-up, with a stock of refill media and spare parts immediately available.
Good to know
The media is chosen according to water analysis: carbon for taste and chlorine, calcite/Corosex to raise aggressive pH, Ecomix for multi-problem well water. Plan for backwash (sufficient flow rate and drainage) and, for pH correction media, periodic monitoring and recharging of the level as they become depleted. An upstream sediment pre-filter protects the media and spaces out backwashes, whilst regular water analysis allows adjustment of the valve setting.
Applications
These bottle filters are installed at the point of entry (protection of the entire house or building), in residential, tertiary and agricultural settings. Depending on the media, they refine taste, correct pH or treat multiple parameters. They combine with sediment pre-filtration and, if necessary, aeration, for healthy water and protected plumbing all year round.
Warranty & reordering
Station assembled and distributed by DIMM, identified by its Business Central article code for reliable ordering and simple reordering. It benefits from manufacturer warranty; the valve, bottle, refill media and compatible hoses remain available in the catalogue to support the installation throughout its lifetime.
