UV-LED principle

UV-LED technology emits germicidal radiation (around 265-280 nm) from diodes: instant start, no mercury, very low consumption and a very long service life. Water passes through a chamber where the UV dose destroys the DNA of micro-organisms and makes them unable to reproduce, with no chemical addition or residual taste.
