This industrial water softener is designed for industry, tertiary sector and collective housing. It is based on two independent columns operating in alternation and two electronic Clack WS2QC valves. By reducing water hardness, it protects heat exchangers, boilers, cooling towers, laundries and process lines against scale formation.

Duplex alternating configuration

Two independent columns working in alternation: one column treats while the other is on standby or in regeneration, providing soft water without interruption, including during the regeneration cycle. Electronic control triggers salt regeneration based on actual consumption, using only the salt and water necessary.

Why soften water in professional environments?

Scale is the silent enemy of installations: just a few millimetres of deposit on a heating element or heat exchanger is enough to reduce efficiency and multiply breakdowns. Sizing your water softener correctly

Sizing depends on water hardness (°fH), peak flow rate and daily volume consumed. Appropriately sized resin volume provides stable soft water without overly frequent regenerations; a correctly sized salt tank spaces out refilling intervals. On installations that cannot tolerate any soft water interruption, in process, collective or catering applications, the duplex alternating configuration is the appropriate solution. Clack WS technology

Clack valves from the WS series equip water treatment installations worldwide. Robust and simple to maintain, they control volume-based regeneration, with a wide choice of connections. Combined with composite bottles and selected resins, they form a reliable and durable technical foundation for professional water softening.

Installation and maintenance

The unit connects to the main water inlet, after the meter, with an isolation bypass for maintenance. Commissioning consists of setting the inlet hardness, treated volume and regeneration cycles. Routine maintenance is limited to filling the salt tanks and periodic checks of outlet hardness. DIMM handles assembly, commissioning, spare parts availability and technical support.

Quality and compliance

High-pressure FRP composite bottles, food-grade ion exchange resin, Clack valves, materials in contact with water compliant with regulations, CE design. Each water softener is assembled and tested by DIMM, with warranty and after-sales service network in Belgium and France.

Salt and consumables

The water softener operates with regeneration salt in pellet form, to be maintained in the salt tanks. Depending on hardness and flow rate, plan for appropriate refilling and periodic resin cleaner. DIMM supplies salt, hoses, fittings, bypass kits and maintenance parts compatible with associated products.
