Overview

The Water Drive SAAS central pre-filter (ref. JUB-T2-MF12-P) is a high-flow sediment filter fitted at the point of entry of the water network. It protects the whole installation — softener, RO unit, water heater, boiler, taps and appliances — by trapping sand, rust, particles and impurities right at the inlet, for clear water throughout the home.

Filtration & self-cleaning

Its cartridge provides a 40 microns filtration fineness and cleans itself by self-cleaning cartridge (10th generation) with reduced maintenance: the trapped impurities are flushed to the drain without replacing any disposable cartridge. This operation reduces maintenance, limits waste and keeps a stable flow over time.

MSAP scale inhibition

Some versions integrate the active MSAP molecule (slow-release, food-grade scale inhibitor): it alters limescale crystallisation to protect appliances against scaling and extend their life, complementing the mechanical filtration.

Good to know

Install the pre-filter at the head of the installation, upstream of the softener and the other treatments, with isolation valves and a dedicated drain outlet for flushing. Periodically check the pressure and trigger the wash according to water quality; on heavily laden water, increase the flush frequency to preserve the flow.
