The FP3 filter housing is made up of three elements: the head, which carries the connections and stays fixed to the pipework, the locking ring, and the bowl holding the cartridge. Cartridge changes need no removal of the head and no work on the plumbing, loosen the ring, drop the bowl, swap the cartridge, close it back up.

Performance is defined by the cartridge. The same FP3 body retains sediment with a spun or pleated cartridge, corrects taste and odour with an activated carbon cartridge, or delivers specific treatment depending on the media chosen. The filtration grade can therefore be changed later without replacing the installation.

The 3/4" inlet and outlet ports connect directly to most domestic and light commercial systems. Mount the housing in line, upstream of the points of use to be protected: protection of sanitary fittings and appliances, pre-filtration ahead of a softener, RO system or UV lamp, taste and odour improvement on mains water, well or rainwater tank supplies.

Shut off the supply and depressurise the line before servicing. Check the head O-ring at every cartridge change, it is the first cause of leaks on reassembly. Tighten the ring by hand or with the dedicated spanner only, never further.
