Ecosoft sediment cartridge 2.5" × 10", dual gradient 20/5 µm

The CPV2510205ECO cartridge is a polypropylene pre-filter cartridge in the standard 2.5" × 10" format. It removes suspended particles from water: rust, sand, scale and silt.

The dual gradient principle

Unlike a single-porosity cartridge, this one filters in two successive stages. The outer layer at 20 µm stops the coarse particles; the inner layer at 5 µm retains the finer ones. Dirt is distributed through the full thickness of the media instead of blinding the surface.

Two direct consequences: a dirt-holding capacity around three times higher than a standard PP cartridge, meaning less frequent replacement, and a lower pressure drop sustained over time, flow stays stable even when raw water turbidity varies.

Where to use it

As pre-filtration on mains, well or rainwater supplies. As protection upstream of a softener, RO system, UV lamp or activated carbon cartridge, whose service life it extends significantly by absorbing the sediment load.
