Single-hole filtration tap, Gliano GLIANO-B105-1

Single-hole filtration tap — Gliano GLIANO-B105-1

The single-hole filtration tap Gliano reference GLIANO-B105-1 (article code ART101061) is a single-hole tap specially designed to dispense water from a reverse-osmosis unit or purifier at the point of use. Elegant and compact, it completes an under-sink filtration setup and delivers purified water on demand, without cluttering the worktop or needing a filter jug.

Design

The body is made of corrosion-resistant material with a chrome finish, for a neat integration in any kitchen. The ceramic cartridge ensures smooth, durable opening and closing without dripping. The spout delivers a steady flow suited to drinking-water consumption.

Compatibility

This single-hole tap connects to the treated-water outlet of a reverse-osmosis unit, a purifier or an ultrafiltration system installed under the sink. It is the dedicated dispensing point for drinking water, independent of the main tapware, and suits any DIMM domestic water-treatment installation. The required hole is single and standard, so installation is quick and needs no special tools. It is the ideal complement to a reverse-osmosis or ultrafiltration installation for pure drinking water at the kitchen tap.

Installation and maintenance

The tap is fixed to the sink or worktop using the supplied tightening nut; the Gliano fixing tool eases installation in tight spaces. Maintenance is limited to cleaning the finish and, after several years, replacing the ceramic cartridge, available separately. The body requires no particular maintenance.

Comfort of use

Having a dedicated purified-water tap avoids any mixing with mains water and guarantees a constant taste, ideal for drinking, coffee, tea and meal preparation. The compact format of the single-hole tap integrates discreetly next to the main mixer or on a secondary sink, and its swivel spout makes filling carafes and bottles easy every day. This turns drinking healthy water into an effortless daily habit for the whole household.

Materials and water quality

The corrosion-resistant body and the ceramic cartridge preserve the purity and taste of the dispensed water: no contact with materials that could alter drinking water. The chrome finish, even and easy to clean, keeps its appearance over time despite limescale and daily handling. This tap is designed for intensive kitchen use, with precise, smooth opening and a long, reliable service life.

Good to know

To preserve water quality, it is advisable to let the water run for a few seconds after a long period of non-use and to replace the reverse-osmosis unit or purifier filter cartridges as recommended by the manufacturer. The tap's ceramic cartridge is a long-life consumable, replaceable without changing the tap, ensuring a very low running cost over time. You thus enjoy fresh, pure drinking water for years directly from a dedicated, discreet outlet next to the main tap.
