Pricing a job, waiting for your client's go-ahead, or a colleague must approve the purchase? The MarketPlace quote freezes your cart and your net prices for 72 hours, the time to decide.
Create a quote
- Build your cart as for an order.
- At the Quote line of the cart, click save (72 h), or edit as PDF to download it right away.
- You receive the quote by email. It is also stored in My account > My quotes.
Turn it into an order
In My quotes, each current quote shows the time left. Click Convert to cart: the items and prices of the quote come back into your cart, all that is left is to choose delivery and confirm.
And if the deadline has passed?
An email warns you before expiry. An expired quote stays in your archives and can be reissued for 72 hours with Reissue.
The quote, a team tool
A member with the View only right prepares their cart and saves it as a quote. An authorised person in your company finds it in My quotes and places the order. The need is expressed by the one who knows it, the purchase is approved by the one who decides.
The DIMM tip
For a job, edit the quote as a PDF and attach it to your own offer. If your client signs within 72 hours, one click on Convert to cart and the material is ordered at the quoted prices.
