Overview
This DN 32 hose connects water treatment equipment to the pipework. Its inner tube in EPDM is protected by a stainless steel braid, and its ACS compliance authorises it for contact with water intended for human consumption. With its length of 1 metre, it is suitable when the equipment is distant from the connection point or when the routing is constrained.
Specifications

Why a hose
Unlike a rigid connection, the hose absorbs vibrations from pumps and water hammer. It compensates for misalignment between the equipment and the pipework, and facilitates removal of an appliance for maintenance or replacement. It also prevents transmission of mechanical stress to valve, cylinder or tank connections.
Installation
Screw the two female fittings onto male 1" 1/4 connectors ensuring appropriate sealing. Maintain a sufficient bend radius, without twisting or kinking the hose. With a long hose, ensure it does not sag under its own weight when filled with water: support if necessary. Leave the hose free from stress once installed.
Use
This hose is used for connection of water softeners, filters, tanks, pumps or fittings in 1" 1/4 on cold water networks in buildings, tertiary sites or industrial facilities.
