CLACK industrial softener duplex alternating — 2 × 250 L resin

This industrial water softener is designed for industry, commercial and collective housing. It relies on two independent columns alternating for uninterrupted soft water and on a Clack WS1½" valve, the world reference for regeneration valves, known for its robustness and long life. By removing hardness (limescale), it protects heat exchangers, boilers, cooling towers, laundries and processes from scaling, secures energy efficiency and cuts maintenance costs.

Two independent columns alternating for uninterrupted soft water: one column treats while the other regenerates: maximum flow and availability. The electronic control starts salt regeneration according to actual consumption, using only the salt and water required.

Why soften in a professional environment?

Scale is the silent enemy of installations: a few millimetres of deposit on an element or exchanger are enough to drop efficiency and multiply breakdowns. Softened water extends equipment life, stabilises processes, reduces energy and detergent use and limits production stoppages. On domestic hot-water networks and heating circuits, softening is the first anti-scale barrier.

Sizing your softener correctly

Correct sizing depends on water hardness (°f), peak flow and daily volume used. A suitable resin volume ensures stable soft water without too-frequent regenerations; a properly sized brine tank spaces out refills. Installation & maintenance

The unit connects to the main supply, after the meter, with an isolation by-pass for servicing. Commissioning consists of setting the inlet hardness, treated volume and regeneration cycles. Routine maintenance is limited to refilling the brine tank and a periodic check of the outlet hardness. DIMM handles assembly, start-up, spare-part availability and technical support throughout the service life.
