Aquapro 7" cartridge, wound PP fibre 25 micron, NSF
The PR-PPS-07-25 is a filter cartridge in wound polypropylene fibre, 7" format, 177.8 mm long. It retains rust, sand, silt and suspended particles.
A specific size, worth checking
7" is not the standard market format: it fits compact filter housings and certain branded appliances, shorter than a conventional 10" body. Check the bowl length before ordering, a 10" cartridge will not fit, and a cartridge that is too short will not seal properly on its seats.
The 25 micron rating
25 micron is an intermediate rating: finer than coarse pre-filtration (50 µm), more forgiving than 5 µm. It suits main filtration on reasonable mains water, or a second stage behind a 50 µm cartridge on loaded water.
Applications
Point-of-use filtration, protection of a sanitary fitting or treatment appliance, pre-filtration ahead of a carbon cartridge or RO system.
The NSF certified PP media is neutral in contact with drinking water: no taste, no odour, no leaching. Replace the cartridge as soon as pressure drop increases or flow falls.
